Bird Nest & Egg cube stamp set

VINTAGE SPRING catalog has images that inspire me.  Today its a book using BIRD NEST & EGG CUBE SET FF126G and the bird is from NEST CUBE SET FF714G.  Tim Holtz idea-ology Worn Cover Album TH93097 and idea-ology Metal Ring Binders provide the base for the book.  Hemming tape ribbons are used to attache the ring binders to the album.  The nest, feathers and eggs are stamped on tea bags and color was added with water colors.  The eggs have been glued to white card stock and trimmed.  The great advantage of working with tea bags that have been opened and dried is that you can tear around your stamped image and get a feathered edge.  Little twigs are placed under and on top of the nest.  I hope you are inspired as well.  I would like to recommend Susan Mostek's blog
