Christmas Cloche samples by Susan Mostek

Susan has created three beautiful inspiring Christmas cards with the Cloche HC219G. Home Sweet Home HC119F, and Making the Rounds HO113B are used on the beautiful cyan card.

Sleigh Bell HO117E and Believe HO116C have a tartan bow and Dream Catcher HO145F is playing in the falling snow. Touches of glitter, glittery paper, and snowflakes sparkle and bring out your smile. I hope you are inspired as much as I am. Thank you Susan!

The stocking were hung

Halloween has passed and Christmas is approaching.  My mind has moved on to Christmas cards.

B Line Designs has come out with Holiday stamps and I made up a few samples.  Color pencil (Berol Prismacolor) and water color are my favorite mediums.  Hope you enjoy, Beverly

Stocking Christmas Card

As you all hopefully know by now, B Line Designs released their much anticipated holiday supplement earlier this month.

I was set to teach classes at Stamping Details, a wonderful stamp store in Poway, CA., on the 17^th and 18^th. Well, after playing with the new stamps, I knew immediately that I couldn’t travel there and not teach a class using at least one of the new designs! I came up with a darling design using the Large Stocking HO105E and some pattern paper scraps and created a Mini Tag Bag class. It was a huge hit!

I then took this same design to make this delightful Christmas card which is featured here! Now pull out those left-over pattern paper scraps from previous crafting projects and let’s begin!

Start by stamping the large stocking twice on solid green cardstock and once each on two different pattern papers. Now cut the stocking images from the papers apart, cutting along the seam lines. Make sure the scraps you use for the top sections run all the way up to the top of the stocking.

Glue the pieces randomly onto one of the solid green images. You may want to use a black gel pen to go over the stitching marks. Cut out stocking. Finally, cut out only the top part of the image from the second green scrap. Use a metallic gold pen to highlight part of the image. Now wrap a small piece of gold braid around the top and tape to the back. Attach with foam tape over the previously assembled stocking.

To really add some fun, now add some small craft jingle bells to the top and toe portions of the stocking. Attach stocking to a folded card. Fun and easy!
