Kelly,s Blachowiak’s Collection

Kelly Blachowiak has been stamping for 22 years.  Besides cards and scrapbooking, she also loved mixed media and taught classes at various stamp and scrapbook stores. “Sadly, Kelly has been suffering from early onset Alzheimer’s and can no longer enjoy crafting. Her wonderful husband decided to honor Kelly by enlisting the help of two of Kelly’s dearest friends to help distribute her craft materials to friends of hers as well as others who would appreciate them and help spread her love of crafting.

Here is one of the art books of Kelly’s.
This is an altered child’s hard back book. The hard surface was gessoed to become a black slate.
Kelly then chose B Line Designs rubber stamps, scrapbook paper, fabrics and embellishments to make this beautiful fashion book.  Kelly’s since of design and color created this gorgeous book.

B lines next post will be another sample of the art many of Kelly’s family and friends enjoy.

Susan Mostek

It is truly wonderful to have dear friends and I am happy to say one of mine is Susan Mostek. Susan has a busy life with her husband, two children, Ginger the dog, extended family, many friends and church but still finds time to do so much in the art world. She teaches, demonstrates for B Line Designs, is a member of an art group, and still has the time to make beautiful samples for us. Thank you!

Susan and I took the opportunity to head off to CHA in California and had a great time. Seeing friends, demonstrating, learning new techniques, and getting inspired. Here are some of Susan's samples that where displayed at the show.

Michelle Bodensteiner samples CHA 2010

CHA was a grand time to see B Line Designs in person, see great demonstrations by Susan Mostek and Beverly Seymour. The other awesome sight were all the great cards by Michelle Bodensteiner. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
