Edith Anne in watercolor

Edith Anne is so cute sitting in her favorite comfy chair.
The white card stock background was stamped black Ranger Archival ink using Small Print Letter
(CA321G).  Then colored with Lyra Aqua-colors in areas and spread with a water brush.  Edith Anne
(BB123F) was stamped twice on white card stock.  Water color with Aqua-color only Edith Anne on one and all on the other.  Let dry.  Cut out Edith Anne curve her with your warm fingers and attach to chair with Pop-Dots.  Glue to card front.  Stamp Just Sitting Here (HF324C) on white card stock and
watercolor green, let dry and round edges.  Adhere with Pop-Dots.  To finish the card off stamp Rayon Seam Binding with black Ranger Archival ink and let dry.  Cut a small nip in the top and bottom of the card crease to hold ribbon in place.

Travel Card

Travel Card

Travel is on the mind of many.  This would make a great send off card for friends traveling.
The base card is a tan with Postcard Collage HF224G from Passport To Europe (PTE) p6 in black.  The light turquoise layer was also stamped with Postcard Collage using a watermark pad.  Next I stamped in black with London Cancellation UK102D PTE p20 and De Paris duo PR304G PTE p5.  Set aside and stamp Passport TP433E from PTE p5 and Ben UK102D PTE p20 on white card stock.  Color passport with Distress Inks (Fire Brick) and sponge. When dry cut them out.  Stamp Bon Voyage TP439E PTE p1 on a tag.  I used a vintage tag that I had stamped Old Neighbors TD031F from the Tattered Damask supplement p6 lightly in black or grey and then stamped the edges with Baroque Swirl TM317D from A Stitch in Time supplement p13 in a (Ochre shade).  If you would like a copy of this just send me an email blineproduct@me.com and I will email you a copy of the stamped baggage ticket.  Stamp Bon Voyage TP439E p1 in PTE (the ship) on the tag with black.  Color with color pencils.  Cut it out and layer your card.  Happy travels

Garden Art

We were able to spend time this weekend out in the yard and it's so nice to see so many things in bloom.  Garden Art is a result of this inspiration.  I started with white card stock and stamped Butterfly Beauties FF523C.  A direct to paper method was used on a white piece of card stock for the yellow (any bright yellow you have will work) and then I used a Ranger sponge foam with a bright orange to sweep across the yellow.  Next a bit of walnut ink was lightly swept across and splattered across the surface (the yellow and walnut ink were swept from right to left).  After this has dried Garden Art FF256F was stamped in a juicy black.  Stamp script (the one I used is an up coming image) in white on black card stock.  Cut out
the butterflies and pop-dot them over layers.  What a great spring card.  Enjoy!

Thinking of You

When your thinking of someone special. Here is an elegant idea from Susan Mostek. She created this layered card using Saundra TD006F and My Friend TD007C (both from Tattered Damask p.2). Prisma color pencil with Gamsol odorless mineral spirits to blend the colors. Use a very smooth card stock, a blending stump (using a nail file to keep your point and remove color). Susan layered with a decorative paper and two shades of card stock. In the corners use gold plastic spacers (jewelry dept.)and brads for a bit of elegance. Complete the look with a contrasting decorative flower. Thank you, Susan for sharing your ideas and talent. Beverly

Spring Bingo

Susan Mostek designed this fun spring card using Bingo Card (TM029) from Tattered Damask (TD) p.6, Flying Friends cube TD002F (TD) p.1, the word "Bird" from Feathered Friend quartet FF712E (TD) p.1, Bird in nest from Flora Twosie cube FF215G Belle Jardinere p.2. Nest with eggs from Nest cube FF714G (TD) p.1. The layering Susan did brings your eye right in to the birds.
Color pencil and scrapbook paper background bring it all to life. Thank you Susan! Beverly
